YAKUDO is the next chapter of a journey that began on two wheels and has grown into something much bigger — a lifestyle shaped by cycling, running, travel, exploration and the simple freedom of being active.
WHERE IT STARTED
FROM THE ROAD TO SOMETHING MORE.
Our story began in 2020 as part of UK Velo, a UK-based sportive company created around a genuine love of cycling.
Velo Clothing grew from a frustration familiar to many riders: good quality cyclewear was becoming increasingly expensive. We believed performance clothing could be well designed, properly tested and fairly priced, so we decided to create our own.
From the beginning, the approach was simple. Design clothing we would genuinely want to wear, test it in the real world and keep improving it. Club rides, training miles, sportive days and long days on the bike became part of the development process.
But the journey didn't stop with cycling. As our events, experiences and community grew, so did the way we thought about clothing.
VELO GREW. INERTIA GREW. WE EVOLVED.
The growth of Velo Clothing, Inertia Events and Inertia Adventures showed us that the people around our brands weren't defined by one sport. They cycle. They run. They travel. They explore. They take on challenges, discover new places and enjoy the quieter moments in between.
That is why we're bringing these worlds together through YAKUDO — evolving our clothing pages into one broader lifestyle brand with a single idea at its heart: movement.
Rather than clothing belonging to one event company or one activity, YAKUDO gives us the freedom to create for the whole journey — from the bike and the run to the trail, the trip, the coffee stop and everyday life.

We are still the people who ride, test, organise events and head out looking for the next experience. YAKUDO simply gives everything we've learned a home — and gives us room to keep moving forward.
